Michelle Gorrell (she/her) is an MPH/MBA candidate at DePaul University. Michelle comes with several years of customer service, healthcare, volunteer, and research experience. She is interested in using her knowledge and leadership skills to help research and develop innovative solutions to health issues. Her passion about eliminating health disparities has motivated her to promote health equity and prevent illness and injury.
Michelle’s interest in public health developed when she worked as a research assistant on projects that focused on access to care and health disparities at Rush University Medical Center, bolstering her critical thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills. Some of Michelle’s favorite hobbies to indulge in when she’s not consumed by studying are traveling, listening to music, reading, and trying new restaurants.
